FAQ's
Got questions? We've got answers. Here's what breeders ask us most.
What is The Rack?
The Rack is a breeding business command center for ball python breeders. It's not just an inventory tracker — it helps you actually run your operation. Dashboard, genetics, breeding pipeline, male health tracking, sales analytics, and alerts all in one place.
How is The Rack different from other breeder apps?
Most apps just track what you have. The Rack tells you what to do next. It shows you which genetics are making money, which males need rest, which females haven't locked in 30+ days, and gives you a full breeding pipeline from pairing to hatch. Other apps stop at inventory. We keep going.
Can I import my data from another app?
Yes. If you have a CSV from your current system, you can import it directly into The Rack. Your animal records, IDs, and data come with you.
What features are included?
Animal inventory and collection management. Feeding, weight, and shed tracking. Pairing and clutch records. Breeding pipeline from pairing to lock to lay to hatch. Male health tracking with rest days and lock rates. Female health and follicle tracking. Genetics tool with het counts and breeding potential. Sales analytics and revenue tracking. Dashboard with year-over-year growth. Alerts when something needs attention. Just pick which version you wish to buy (Standard or Pro) to have what features matter to you.
Is this just for big breeders?
No. Whether you have 20 animals or 200, The Rack scales with you. If you're trying to turn this into a real business — or just want to stop losing track of things — it's built for you.
Will I actually use it or is this another app that collects dust?
The Rack is built into your workflow. You're already feeding, pairing, and checking on clutches. The Rack just makes logging it take 5 seconds. And the more you use it, the more it gives back — alerts, insights, and data that actually helps you make decisions.
Is The Rack complicated to learn?
No. It's designed by breeders who wanted something simple that actually works. Start with your active breeders, get your pairings in, and let the system do the heavy lifting. You don't need to be tech-savvy.
Who built The Rack?
Breeders. We built it because we needed it. The tools out there weren't cutting it, so we made something better. And if you ever get stuck, we've got you — because we use it too.
