THE RACK is a ball python breeding management platform operated by Soul Serpents, LLC. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.

Account Data

When you purchase THE RACK, we collect your name, email address, and purchase information through Shopify. This data is used to create your account and deliver the software.

Breeding and Animal Data

Data you enter into THE RACK, including animal records, feeding logs, clutch records, weights, and related husbandry information, is stored on our infrastructure hosted on secure cloud infrastructure. This data is yours. We do not sell it.

Login Activity and Security Logging

When you sign in to THE RACK, we record the following information for account security purposes:

• Login timestamp (date and time)
• IP address
• Device or browser identifier

This information is used solely to detect unauthorized access and protect your account. Login activity data is automatically deleted after 90 days. We do not use IP addresses for advertising, geolocation tracking, or any purpose beyond account security.

Usage Data

We may collect anonymized usage data such as login frequency and feature usage to improve the platform. This data is not tied to your personal identity.

Cookies

We use cookies for authentication and basic site functionality. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.

• Request deletion of your account and associated personal data

6. California Residents (CCPA)

7. Data Retention

• Account and breeding data: Retained for as long as your account is active. Deleted within 30 days of a deletion request.
• Login history: Automatically purged after 90 days.
• Backups: Retained for 90 days after data deletion.
• Anonymized usage data: May be retained indefinitely.

8. Security

We use industry-standard security practices including data isolation, encrypted connections, and access controls to protect your data. No system is completely immune to breach. We will notify affected users in the event of a data breach affecting personal information.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy with reasonable notice. Continued use of THE RACK after notice constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
