Terms of Service

Effective Date: March 6, 2026 — Soul Serpents, LLC | therackapp.io

1. Agreement to Terms

By purchasing or using THE RACK, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not purchase or use the software. These terms form a binding agreement between you and Soul Serpents, LLC.

2. Software License

THE RACK is sold as a one-time software license, not a subscription. Your purchase grants you a non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access and use THE RACK for your personal breeding management purposes. This license does not transfer ownership of the software.

3. Service Tiers

THE RACK is available in the following tiers:

• Free: Access limited to one animal record. Intended for buyers who claim an animal via QR scan.
• Standard: Up to 500 animal records. One-time purchase.
• Pro: Unlimited animal records. One-time purchase.

Features and limits for each tier are defined at therackapp.io and may be updated with reasonable notice.

4. Geographic Restrictions

THE RACK is currently available to customers in the United States only. Purchases from outside the United States are not permitted. Soul Serpents, LLC reserves the right to expand availability to additional regions in the future.

5. Your Data

Your breeding data is stored securely on Soul Serpents, LLC infrastructure. You retain ownership of the data you enter. You may export your data at any time using the built-in export tools. Soul Serpents, LLC does not sell or share your personal data with third parties.

You authorize Soul Serpents, LLC to collect, store, and process data you submit through THE RACK for the purpose of operating the platform, improving the service, and building platform-wide features including but not limited to lineage and registry systems. Registry and lineage data derived from animal records may be used to power platform features. This data pertains to animals, not personal information.

6. Platform Continuity and Shutdown Notice

Soul Serpents, LLC will provide no less than 90 days advance written notice before permanently discontinuing THE RACK service. During this notice period, you will have full access to your data and export tools. A timestamped export log will be maintained as proof of data availability.

A one-time purchase does not guarantee perpetual hosting. It grants access to the software for as long as the service remains operational.

7. Support

Included Support

All purchases include 30 days of ticket-based support from the date of purchase. Support is delivered via our ticketing system only. Response times are within 48 to 72 business hours. Included support covers: software bugs, login issues, and basic how-to questions.

What Is Not Included

The following are not included in any standard support tier and are available only as paid services:

• Data imports or migration from other platforms
• One-on-one setup or configuration assistance
• Phone or video calls
• Training sessions

After 30 Days

After the included support period, ticket support requires the purchase of Priority Support. Documentation and self-service resources remain available to all customers at no additional cost.

White Glove Import Service

If you need assistance migrating your data from another platform, White Glove Import is available as a one-time paid service at $99. This service is separate from any support tier.

8. Founding Breeder Program

The Founding Breeder Program is closed. Benefits associated with the Founding Breeder Program do not apply to purchases made after the program closed. New purchases are governed solely by these Terms of Service.

9. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of THE RACK
• Use THE RACK for any unlawful purpose
• Resell, sublicense, or transfer your license to another party
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform or other users' data

10. Intellectual Property

THE RACK, including its code, design, features, and all associated materials, is owned by Soul Serpents, LLC. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. The Universal Lineage Registry system, including its architecture, registry numbers, and public verification infrastructure, is proprietary to Soul Serpents, LLC.

11. Disclaimers

THE RACK is provided as-is. Soul Serpents, LLC makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability. We are not liable for losses resulting from data loss, service interruptions, or errors in the software.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Michigan.

13. Changes to These Terms

Soul Serpents, LLC may update these Terms of Service with reasonable notice. Continued use of THE RACK after notice constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
